Groomsmen contribute to the
fun and jubilation of a wedding
ceremony, but they must also handle a great deal of stress
on behalf of the groom. After all, tradition allocates some
important tasks for the man of the hour to handle, such as purchasing
the wedding rings, choosing
his groomsmen and their suits, buying gifts for his attendants,
making appointments for the CA
marriage license and blood tests, organizing transportation
to and from the ceremony and reception, arranging to pay the
minister who presides over the ceremony, and planning the honeymoon.
The groom's plate is quite full, and that's where the groomsmen
step in to relieve some of his workload.
Naturally, the groom's best mates deserve groomsmen
gifts, and they might enjoy a day of golf, which you can
present with a bag of tees and a tag revealing a tee time that
you’ve reserved for them. Not many young men today own appropriate
wedding attire, so another
idea is to attach a pair of cuff links to a card-stock sleeve,
then tuck in something many groomsmen find they need: instructions
on how to tie a bow tie.
